About Leslie Abraham


Presently Leslie is a faculty member of TNSPA Sydney, teaching Vocational Open Ballet Classes. Beyond this role she contracts to various studios and students. She hires studios to accommodate the student and location. 
Leslie has represtented The Royal Academy of Dance Australia, to teach 'Discovering Repertoire' and teach scholarship open class for the Advance 1 Bursury.
 Previously, Leslie was contracted to teach Full Time students at a Sydney based school studying a Diploma in Elite performance. This contract has been completed. Leslie was also a faculty member of The McDonald College for five years. 
Leslie is married with three sons which has gained her a sense of humour for teaching boys of all levels and standards. She enjoys 'tapping into their interests' to achieve a sense of fun while learning dance. 
2018 /2019 is a stage of rebuilding opportunites for Leslie after she took time away to care for her own Mother.  
Leslie sees many dance performances to enrich her own profession. She has just returned from a trip to Canada where she viewed 'Dancing on The Edge' in Vancouver. 
Leslie's hobbies are music and cooking.(With sons, it inspires her to cook). Leslie has joined a community choir in 2019.

Performance Experience


Leslie's performance experience includes; Opera Australia as a dancer in ‘Les Huguenots’ performing in the same production as the internationally renowned late Dame Joan Sutherland. Japan performing Cabaret style dance (produced by Virginia Ferris), Contemporary dance with free- lance choreographers Vancouver, National Character Dance in Toronto with Folk Ballet Theatre Company, independent projects to Scottsdale Arizona, USA and Panto-mime Toronto, Canada. Choreographed by Trudi Moffit, with The Good-luck Theatre Company in the lead classical ballet role of ‘Mamma Bear’ in Goldilocks and the Three Bears. The Good Luck Theatre Company then inviting Leslie to travel to Italy, performing as dancer and actor in two roles in ‘Animal Farm’ touring Northern Italy.
